Meet the Founder
Jason Schlachter is the founder of AI Empowerment Group. An AI strategist with 25 years of experience at the intersection of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and strategic technology leadership, he has dedicated his career to making AI practical and impactful for organizations of all sizes.
Jason has served as Director of AI Research Strategy and Head of Product for Clinical AI at Elevance Health, led AI research for the Department of Defense while at Lockheed Martin, and driven real-world AI deployments at scale—including an industry-first AI/IoT solution for Stanley Black & Decker. His published research spans NLP and machine learning, including papers on event extraction, information operations detection, and narrative analysis.
He previously hosted the We Wonder podcast, exploring how technology transforms society. Today, Jason helps leaders move beyond vendor pitches and media hype to identify genuine use cases that drive measurable business value.
